In her Prefect Piece, Coco P (Year 6) talks about joining a new School and how she felt on her first day. She also tells us what she enjoys about being at the School and what she is looking forward to.

“I started at Sutton Valence Preparatory School in Year 6. I felt very nervous to start a new school, but I was made to feel very welcome by all the teachers and children at School on my first day. I am really enjoying being in Year 6 and have made lots of friends.

My favourite lessons are Sport, (Hockey, Netball, Swimming), Drama and singing. I love competing in the sports matches each week against other schools and enjoy being part of a team. 

We are rehearsing this term for our play and cannot wait until we can perform it to everyone. It is going to be very funny. I am looking forward to singing at the informal concert this week too. I also cannot wait to go on the Year 6 French trip in May!
