Our Third Form students had a productive and successful breakout session in the Baughan Theatre on Saturday morning where they discussed various terms related to sexuality. The students learned the valuable lesson that there is no single ‘correct’ way, and that it is crucial to respect the experiences and identities of everyone.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the parents who attended the Wellbeing Parent session on Saturday. We were grateful to have so many parents in attendance and enjoyed great questions and discussion as part of the session. I have attached the resource that we referred to in the presentation and hope this will be helpful.
Our Fourth Form students participated in a breakout session to increase their understanding of mental health. The main take-away from this session is that mental health is an essential aspect of our overall wellbeing and, just as we strive to maintain our physical health, we should also make an effort to actively improve our mental health.
This week, some of our Third Form students participated in a yoga session and had a productive discussion on the significance of flexibility in our daily lives.
Our Wellbeing Staff Ambassadors also completed their Mental Health First Aid Awareness training, further demonstrating their dedication and compassion towards the wellbeing of our community.
Exciting plans for our upcoming Wellbeing Week, beginning of February 6th, have been developed by both staff and student ambassadors and we look forward to sharing them with you in the coming week.
