It was delightful to see the Design Technology workshop yesterday busy with students from a number of year groups applying their manufacturing skills.

First Form Design Technology Club students have been enjoying manufacturing their insect houses, confidently using a range of hand processes alongside the pillar drill and belt sander.

The Fifth Form and Upper Sixth Design Technology students have been making use of the afternoon and evening in the workshop to progress the manufacture of the GCSE and A Level products. The students have demonstrated excellent problem solving skills alongside refined manufacturing abilities to realise their design solutions in response to their individual briefs. We look forward to showcasing their work at the Design Show in the Summer Term.
