Over the Christmas Holidays, our Equestrian team went back out to rival other schools at a local Show Jumping competition in Staplehurst. Our senior team performed incredibly well with the following results, including three out of three team golds!
The 75-centimetre team gold was won by Amelia P (Year 5), Isla D (Year 6), Harriet Plummer (Second Form) and Imogen Trott (Fifth Form). Harriet also came first individually, followed by Amelia in second and Imogen in fifth.
In the 85-centimetre, we had two teams competing. The winning team was made up of Amelia, Harriet and George Stanley (Third Form). Individually, Harriet also achieved first place and George came fifth. Well done also to Isla, Imogen and Erin Smith (Fourth Form), who competed in the other 85-centimetre team, but unfortunately were not in the placings despite a great effort.
The final team gold came in the 95-centimetre from a team made up of Erin, Harriet, George and Imogen. Individual placings were: Erin in first place, George in second place and Harriet in fourth place.
The students have worked so hard and to come away with all three team gold places and so many great individual places really highlights the ability and talent of our Equestrian team.
The team are out again this Sunday, further afield in Sussex competing in Arena Eventing Competition. Good luck to George, Harriet and Imogen.
