What a wonderful term it has been so far. The children have all settled so well and there has been a hum of excitement throughout the School. It has been truly joyous to see the children engaged, inspired and looking forward to their learning each day. The different learning topics have inspired excellent questioning, communication, and collaborative learning. The children have applied their knowledge through practical and exciting activities.

Looking ahead, we have made some changes to star awards in Pre-Prep. The children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 all receive a star certificate each term. When they have been awarded a star certificate this will come through as a notification on your email from iSAMS. The children will then receive their certificate the following Tuesday in our Star Assembly. We hope this helps working parents to plan if they would like to see their child receive a certificate and continues to make the star certificates current, so the children are awarded for something that has happened in the previous week.

As we move through the next Half Term, the weather will start to deteriorate and become colder and wetter. We will still be taking the children out at playtimes and Forest School, so please can I ask all children have wellies, coats, hats, gloves and scarfs.
