Last week, our SVS Golf Team entered the 2022 Southern Schools Cup. This is an Independent Schools Golf Association ranking event attended by some of the finest independent school golfers in the South of England. Luca Esposito Lee-Kemp (Fifth Form), Lorcan Hanna and Heston King (both Upper Sixth) played some excellent golf and managed to win the NETT part of the competition which meant they were overall runners-up to Reed’s School.

A special mention must go to Lorcan Hanna who not only won the individual NETT competition but also shot three under par and tied second with the lowest overall gross score. This is the best round of golf that any student has ever had at Sutton Valence and it is not often an amateur player can get to say they beat the course!
