On Tuesday evening, students that were shortlisted for the Maidstone Museum Design Heritage Challenge in both the Senior and Preparatory Schools attended the ‘Presentation of the Cheques’ evening at Maidstone Museum with Miss Peart-Price and Mrs Savage.

Simone Rai (Third Form) was awarded second prize for the Senior School category and Sienna C (Year 6) was awarded first prize for the Prep School category. It was great to see our talented students’ work on display in the museum. The exhibition will be open to the public until Friday 15th July, if you would like to show your support and see the design work and prototypes on display.

Simone and Sienna are currently very busy behind the scenes, manufacturing ten of their products to sell in the Maidstone Museum shop. You will be able to buy the products that they have designed and manufactured from Wednesday 6^th July.

Congratulations to all the students and teachers involved with the Maidstone Museum Foundation project, it was a huge success! We look forward to getting involved with the next Design Challenge Maidstone Museum that will be announced in the next few weeks.
