Today saw the hotly contested Penguin Race take place amongst the Juniors. This longstanding Sutton Valence School tradition involves the four houses competing in a continuous swimming relay race. It was lovely to see so many Juniors choosing to take part and represent their house, and there was a wonderful air of excitement, determination and team spirit.
Special mention must also go to our guest penguin visitor (Mr Thomas!) who popped in to award the prizes and have a quick dip. Congratulations to Lambe’s and Holdgate, the joint winners.
