Our Year 4 pupils have been finding out about Sikhism in their Religious Education lessons. They worked in small groups to play ‘Sikhism Dominoes’, using the internet to research answers to key questions.

Whilst working independently or in small groups, the children relished the opportunity to stretch and challenge themselves by generating personalised PowerPoint presentations or creating posters containing facts and higher-order thinking questions (HOTS) such as, ‘What is a legacy?’ and ‘Which aspects of Sikhism are similar to those of other religions and what is the impact of these?’ . The quest for knowledge and understanding continues.
