On Tuesday, the School was delighted to open its doors to host its first Grandparents’ Day in three years. Given the event’s hiatus, it was wonderful to welcome over 180 guests on the day, many of whom had not visited the School previously. Given the community focus that the School prides itself upon, Grandparents’ Day is always a highlight in the calendar as an opportunity to open our doors to our wider community.
Upon their arrival, grandparents and guests were taken on a tour of the School by their youngest grandchild, seeing lessons in progress and enjoying our fabulous outside space. Afterwards, they gathered together for an afternoon tea on Prefects’ Lawn, taking in the views over the Weald. It was a very busy but exciting day, and we wish to thank all of the grandparents who attended, as well as our enthusiastic group of tour guides for showing them around.
