Two of our youngest members of the SVS Equestrian team, Isla D (Year 5) and Amelia P (Year 4) competed locally in Staplehurst over the Easter holidays in a Showjumping competition against other local schools and they both came away with fantastic results.

Amelia won her 60-centimetre class, came fourth in the 70-centimetre class and third in her first-ever 75-centimetre class! Isla also had super rounds coming sixth in the 70-centimetre class and fifth in the 75-centimetre class.

These outstanding results mean they have both qualified for the National Grass Roots Championships at Hickstead in August. We look forward to hearing how they get on when we return to school in September.
