Following two recent England Hockey camps over Half Term, Upper Sixth Form student Louis Ridge received the fantastic news that he has been selected for the final U18 squad.  There will now be another camp for Louis in December followed by fixtures against countries including The Netherlands, Belgium and Ireland, early in the New Year.  Louis is taking things one step at a time but is hoping to be selected for these games and to make a good impression.  Going forward there are the Euros in Kazan, Russia later in the year.  Hopefully 2020 will be a successful and exciting time for Louis.

Louis has also been playing for Canterbury Men’s 1st XI in the new Division 1 South League.  He has become an integral player in the squad and has enjoyed playing a high standard of Hockey every weekend.
