An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. During the Lent Term, the Fourth Form Army cadets are attending the Climbing Experience in Maidstone each week, to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to pass their Level One NIBAS bouldering course. The first group of intrepid explorers has started the course, and have shown that they have a good level of skill and aptitude already.
It was amazing to see the level of interest and concentration amongst the students. The centre staff were certainly impressed with the efforts that they made. This is a new venture for the CCF Army section and it bodes well for the future if the level of commitment can remain this high.
