On the Friday before Half Term, our Year 6 pupils held their annual Fundraising event. A huge well done must go to the pupils (and many of their parents) for their time and hard work ensuring this event was a success. They worked brilliantly together, in small groups, to produce some activities for the other year groups to enjoy; they also sold a huge amount of homemade cakes, candyfloss, popcorn, drinks and more. It was great to see them develop their collaboration and teamwork skills whilst showing a healthy amount of business acumen; something I am sure Lord Sugar would have been proud of!
This year’s chosen charity is ‘Maidstone and Mid-Kent Mind’. The final amount was an incredible £786.80, which will make a huge difference to the Charity and what they are doing in our local community.
