Yesterday, our pupils from Year 3 up to Second Form took part in the Aquathon Challenge in aid of Sports Relief. They endured 30 minutes of team relay swimming, 30 minutes of running, jogging and walking around the Athletics track, including dodging the odd rain shower!
The children were aiming to get to Paris as a final distance covered, however it transpired that our talented pupils made it all the way to Geneva!
A huge well done to all the pupils who took part, they were relentless in their efforts to get the miles in, and were brilliantly supported by the SVS pupil helpers who counted lengths and laps and encouraged the children all the way – you should all be very proud of your efforts!
At the time of writing, our fantastic community has already raised over £1,770 which is incredible. Thank you to all of you who have donated. If you haven’t already, please donate to this deserving charity, all proceeds are going to Sports Relief! You can donate here – virginmoneygiving.com/svsaquathon
