The 100 Day Project is a creative initiative that people all over the world participate in every year. Ms Gebbett explains the project below, and how you can join in:
“The 100 Day Project is a creative initiative that people all over the world participate in every year. Just search #The100DayProject on Instagram or Twitter and you will be enlightened with the work of millions of people who have spent (or perhaps have started to spend) 100 consecutive days creating and crafting.
This is no mean feat, but this year we want you to give it a go. There are only two rules for participating in this project: You repeat a simple task every day for the duration of the challenge. You record every day’s effort.
The task that you choose to embark on doesn’t have to be lengthy or difficult, sometimes simple is beautiful. You could do small line drawings of objects that you find around the house, take pictures of the same subject at the same time every day or even make origami cranes. These are all creative projects and will all develop into an incredible 100-piece series.
The official SVS start date for this project is Friday 10th April, so get creating and let’s see what beautiful projects you have produced in 100 days.
