This week, our Head Boy, Tom G (Year 6), gives us a lovely update of what he has been doing this week at home, including creating a fun stop-frame animation film with his dad. Tom updates us below:
“These are strange times aren’t they, where we have all had to adapt to a new normal. Over the last couple of weeks, I have been making some stop-frame animation films with my dad. Some of the films have been for English projects but others have been made just for fun. My favourite one so far is about a mouse trying to get to the cheese, who has to overcome a number of obstacles in its way. Although they take some perseverance to film, the end result is always worthwhile and a good way to alleviate the boredom.
Videos in all formats are a great way of communicating and, this week, all of Year 6 have been sending videos to our classmate Frankie – who had a nasty accident on his bike and had to have an operation. It has been so nice seeing all my friends especially Alfie’s sock puppets. The end result was fantastic and a great way to demonstrate the importance of friendship. A big thank you to Mrs Muller for organising and editing the video.
Tom”
