This week, our Head Girl, Lydia (Year 6), gives us a lovely update of what she has been doing this week at home, which includes a lot of creative art pieces. You can read Lydia’s update below. 

“Hi everyone, I hope you have had a good week.

This week, I have been doing lots of Art. It’s a good thing to do to alleviate the boredom and it’s fun! I have been experimenting with Pixel Art and Acrylic paints. For the Pixel Art, I went online and found a template of small squares and then printed it off. It was a lot of fun to colour in and I had to count many pixels over and over again! In the end, I was pleased with the results.

For the Acrylic Art, my mum and I went online and bought some small canvases and some cheap acrylic paints. I ended up painting a Quadtych. This is where four paintings come together to create one larger painting. I hope you all have a good weekend!
