The Refectory is usually the one place where the School community comes together, to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Under Covid-19 conditions, there are several measures we have introduced to make this a safe place. Some measures include:

Removing half of the seating to enable social distancing;

Adding additional meal sittings;

Keeping year groups in separate zones;

Rostering catering staff to work at different times to avoid congestion in the kitchen.

In order to facilitate these temporary arrangements, we are using disposable containers, including cutlery and glasses at all meal times to avoid cross-contamination. As we take our social responsibility very seriously, all of our disposables are plant-based and biodegradable with negligible environmental impact. It is our aim to re-introduce normal tableware as the circumstances improve.
