An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. Over the summer holidays, we received the fantastic news that Evie Smith (Second Form) has been selected for the Swim England National Development Programme.
Following the cancellation of the British and National Swimming Championships this summer due to the lockdown, the selection for the camp was made via the national rankings.
Evie’s current national rank in England for 13-year-old girls is as follows:
Fourth in 400 metre Individual Medley (IM) short course;
Fifth in 50 metre Breaststroke long course;
Sixth in 200 metre IM long course;
Eighth in the 50 metre Fly long course.
