Austin S (Year 6) and Violet S (Year 5) were chosen as the winning regional entry for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex region of the Step into the NHS primary schools competition! Violet and Austin submitted a beautiful rainbow poster, thanking the NHS. The judging panel, which included TV personality Dr Ronx, were impressed with the strong visual design, creativity and careers engagement shown.
There were 167 entries in total from the Kent, Surrey and Sussex region, so huge congratulations to Violet and Austin! They join eight other regional winners, plus an overall national competition winner. Violet and Austin each received a £25 Amazon e-voucher and a certificate. Harry (Year 6) and Charlie (Year 4) competition entry, Oma’s Story, was also shortlisted and awarded ‘highly commended’. Well done to you, too!
