An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. Year 5 have been using the Microsoft Surface Go devices and the styluses to do all their work in Humanities this term; the children were very excited to go paperless!
They have been studying the Tudors and have been looking at Tudor fashion. After a discussion about what clothes the Tudors wore, they investigated the fashions of the time; there were some raised eyebrows about farthingales and codpieces! The children then wrote about the fashion differences between the rich and poor, and designed their own Tudor outfits; there were some very impressive designs on offer!
