This past week saw Year 3 attempt to channel their thinking skills in creative ways. They were tasked with creating their perfect remote controller. They explored things they liked, loved, hated, were irritated by, wished they had more of (or less), things they enjoyed and things they try to avoid. Through discussion, they then explored a world where they could control these things. The children then designed their own remote controllers, with the ability to monitor information, make things more or less, or just turn them on or off. Here are a few of their designs.
