On Wednesday, the whole School reflected on the sacrifice made by so many in the armed forces when we marked Armistice Day with our Act of Remembrance. Miss Corkran reflects on the service below:

‘It was an extremely moving ceremony and I am very grateful to Seb H and Lydia H, our Head Boy and Head Girl, who delivered, so beautifully, some readings and prayers as a part of the ceremony. It was also super to have the Last Post played with vigour, from the Music balcony, by Harry H (Year 6). It has been wonderful to be able to send over £420 to the British Legion in return for the poppies; I know our local representative is incredibly grateful and the money will be put to excellent use.’
