On 30th October, HIK SVS held their annual cross-country style competition. Hever won the event getting 12 super points for their house, Leeds came second with eight points, Rochester came third with four points and Bodiam came fourth with two points.
On their Charity Day, the children dressed as book characters and brought some books and donations to School. Every member of the community made a contribution and the books and donations were sent to a local hospital.
The International Food Day was a whole School non-uniform event, where children learned about food from different regions and then tried it out in a large outdoor gathering. There were recipes from China, South Korea, Australia, Japan, America and the United Kingdom. The children tried their luck at a number of street-fair style events and games, which are popular in the various nations.
