It is the third day of the new term and, as I type, children are demonstrating their resilience, flexibility and impressive technical skills as they get on with their virtual lessons, both at home and in our critical worker provision. We had already planned for this term’s Superhoot Learning Powers to be tenacity and bravery and it is clear that the whole community have, already, engaged with these brilliantly.
It has been very interesting to see how quickly the children have adapted to a form of learning we had not expected to have to employ for a second time during this pandemic and I applaud them all. I am also very grateful to the staff team who found themselves in Zoom staff meetings on New Year’s Eve and have been planning ever since to ensure we could hit the ground running at the start of 2021.
We do appreciate how much juggling must be going on at home to enable your children to access their Virtual Journeys and thank you for the many kind messages of support at a time that is challenging and difficult for us all. Please do keep in touch if we can help in any way.
Stay safe and have a well-deserved restful weekend.
