An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. Harry H (Year 6) says, “One of the activities I enjoyed doing during the first lockdown was making games and animations using the coding programme Scratch. You can access the Scratch coding programme at https://scratch.mit.edu/ where you can set up your own account for your own games and animations. This is also the coding programme that we use in Years 3 – 6, in Prep.
I have put together a video tutorial on how to create a simple animation using Scratch here.
