An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. In time honoured fashion, winning Houses were presented with their trophies by the youngest members of the SVS community. 🏃🏽♀️ https://t.co/5Ag0X9o3FF
As part of their transition into Prep, children in Year 2 are allocated a buddy in Year 5 who can ‘show them the ropes’ and support them as they head up to the Coles Building.
Even though we are not able to physically get the children together at the moment, they did enjoy meeting one another over Zoom last week, and now all the children know who their buddy is and can put a face to a name.
This was the first of these events, which we hope can continue as the term goes on so that this important transition within the life of the School can be as smooth as possible.
