An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. During their Geography classes, our Second Form students have been learning about the theory of plate tectonics and the formation of volcanoes. For their prep, they were set a project to research a volcano and create a model version.
As you will see below, the pupils have been really creative with this challenge and some were even inspired by the recent snowfall. Alongside the research the pupils conducted, we received videos of erupting models, paintings, cakes and even a story based on the eruption of Vesuvius.
