Year 2 were inspired by the story of Katie and the Waterlily Pond. In the story, Katie steps inside the magical world of five Monet paintings and then enters a competition with her own picture. We decided to have our own Year 2 competition, judged by our Head of Art, Mrs Savage.

Year 2 children could enter any picture – painted, drawn or collaged in the style of Monet.
