Following on from His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh’s passing, we wanted to share our own tribute to him.

His creation and leadership of the DofE scheme has formed an important part of the enrichment provision at SVS for many years. Since its inception, we have championed the benefits of the scheme and we have seen the positive impact it has had on our students. Over 500 students have completed either a Bronze, Silver or Gold award in the last ten years, which is a phenomenal achievement.

The names listed in the image only represent those from the last ten years (our data retention policies don’t allow us to go further back), but we look forward to adding to this impressive list in the future as the Duke of Edinburgh’s legacy lives on through the prestigious scheme.
