The Music Department has hit the ground not running but sprinting this term! Individual music lessons, choirs and ensembles are already well underway and it is delightful to hear the sound of the children’s music-making wafting along corridors and through the ever-open windows! It is so exciting to be preparing for some performances again too. There are soloist concerts to look forward to for all year groups and, later in the term, the summer concert will be an opportunity to hear the instrumental ensembles, as well as all the children singing. 

Finally, don’t forget that our fantastic team of visiting Music teachers are always keen to take on new pupils. If your child has expressed an interest in learning an instrument, why not set the ball rolling now by requesting a trial lesson? If your child is not sure what they would like to learn, trials on a range of possible instruments can be arranged.
