On Wednesday, the 1st VII Rugby squad took to the pitches for the first time this academic year to play in a friendly sevens tournament hosted by The Duke of York’s Royal Military School.
On a beautiful summer evening in Dover, the boys displayed what a powerful outfit they are by convincingly beating all teams and winning the aptly named ‘Covid Cup’. All matches were played with great spirit and it was a lovely way for Upper Sixth boys from all of the schools to play a final game of Rugby for their school team in what has been an incredibly difficult year for them due to the pandemic.
