An annual end of term tradition, this year’s whole School Baton Race was won by Holdgate for Seniors, Founder’s for Inters and Lambe’s for the Juniors. On Sunday 25th July, at the David Broome Event Centre in Wales, Alfie Miles competed in a national showjumping competition. In the qualifying class, he rode exceptionally well, which resulted in him being placed an impressive third out of 90 riders. The second-placed rider went on to ride for Wales and Alfie was selected as the next placed rider for the England team. The team then proceeded to win gold the following day!
This is an immense achievement for Alfie and an incredible experience for him to have been a part of. Well done!
