Charlotte C (Year 5) participated in the South East Regional (Vault and Floor) Gymnastics Competition at the Spectrum in Guildford. She was in the team that represented Pegasus Gymnastics Club.

Hundreds of children participated throughout the day and as it was Charlotte’s first gymnastics competition she went without expectation, other than enjoying the day and gaining experience of an event. She won a Silver medal and we are extremely proud of her. Charlotte trains regularly and practises constantly at home. She improved her gymnastics during lockdown despite the gym being closed and she continues to push herself to improve, always watching videos of moves and practising them until she has them mastered. All her hard work has really paid off – well done Charlotte!
