Harriet Onions (Fifth Form), an excellent footballer playing for Tunbridge wells Foresters FC U16 Girls’ team, has been selected as an ambassador for Miss Kicks, a football clothing line made for girls and women.

Harriet regularly stays in contact with the brand and has had many exciting opportunities to meet players, ambassadors and attend events. Most recently, she was invited onto a Zoom call with Katie McCabe, Arsenal left-winger and captain for Ireland. Katie is one of Harriet’s biggest inspirations, as an Arsenal Women’s fan and a left-winger herself.

Harriet, along with other Miss Kicks ambassadors, thoroughly enjoyed attending the Zoom call with Katie, explaining that ‘she really values having a community of young girls and women who share such a huge passion for football’. After asking Katie if she had any advice for a left-winger and how she deals with pre-match nerves, Harriet received some excellent advice that she is looking forward to putting into practice.
