The Development Office
The Development Office of Sutton Valence School was set up in 2002 and works to promote the whole School community and to support the School Development Plan, alongside other agreed objectives.
The Development Office programme comprises a range of activities that involve all current and former pupils, staff, parents and supporters of Sutton Valence School. In addition, the Development Office works with other groups in the local community, the wider independent school community and various funding and grant-awarding bodies.
Sutton Valence exists for its pupils and aims to enroll pupils from a wide range of backgrounds and interests to maintain the vibrant and diverse character of the school. In addition to 'friend-raising' activities The Development Office also supports the PR initiatives and marketing of the school to prospective parents and the wider community by means of a range of events and activities including Open Mornings, media stories and social events.
An important part of the Development function is the Annual Fund, which was established to raise funds to support bursaries and small capital projects in the school. We organise fundraising appeals and events, raising money to help the school continue to evolve and improve to meet the changing needs of all members of our school community.
Working closely with the Old Suttonian Association, we maintain links with ALL former pupils, organising reunions and putting classmates back in touch with one another. Old Suttonians and their families are always welcome to visit us at the School; our office is signposted from the Quad.
Please contact us if we can be of any assistance, we look forward to hearing from you.
